David Woodrow is an Artist based in Buxton, Derbyshire, an area he fell in love with after spending some time there on holiday. He moved to the town in 1990 with his wife just in time for their first son to be born.
A professional painter, for a time David had a gallery and framing shop in the town but eventually decided to concentrate on commission work. He teaches painting and drawing to Lifelong Learning students in the High Peaks and also classes of private art groups in many different types of media. As an artist David particularly enjoys working in Watercolour and specialises in landscapes and wildlife studies.
